IDSA IDEA AWARD Finalist
Selected as a finalist within the refrigeration category for sustainable refrigeration design in collaboration with General Electric.

The objective was to design and build a chair within eight weeks out of traditional wood with the influence of Scandinavian design, art and architecture. My chair design had two exhibitions; one Copenhagen, Denmark and one in Rochester, NY.

Participated in a semester long collaboration with General Electric to design and build a refrigerator that improves product life-cycle and promotes sustainable behavior in the user

Participated in week long design-blitz to design a lounge space for the RIT College of Art and Design. Out of 45 teams, my team was one of three chosen for this accolade under my role as leader, Design Manager

BIJOUX INTERNATIONAL INC. (EASTSPORT/FUEL/BODHI BRANDS)
INDUSTIRAL DESIGNER / APRIL 2019-PRESENT / NEW YORK, NY
Assists the design team with all aspects of the mass manufactured bag process for multiple brands (Eastsport /Fuel / BODHI), which include: Ideation and conceptualization of new products for each new season, especially Back To School season. Assists Design Director with all aspects of the design process, including creating technical specs, approving color swatches, refreshing outdated styles, and trend/market research. Communicates directly with factory to aid in production process and works closely with Sales Team to ensure all needs for new products are met. Additional assistance includes: copywriting, retouching imaging and participating in sales meetings with buyers. Designs are sold in Walmart, JCPenny, Amazon, Burlington and more. As of July 2021, I also serve as the Interim Marketing manager, where I spearhead sales campaigns through social media channels, e-blasts and coordinate donations to organizations in need.

Tenba is a brand owned and distributed internationally by MAC Group. Designed a variety of bags, luggage, backpacks and accessories for professional photographers, filmmakers and industry workers. Participated in all aspects of the design development process in assistance to the Design Director and Vice President, Brand Manager. Communicated with professionals in the photo/film industry to ensure our products were tested, revised and upgraded according to worker standards/needs. Continuously aimed to research and select highest quality materials, hardware and fabrics. Detail-oriented design process, created technical packet specs outlining designs daily, communicated directly with factory to keep production process smooth. Worked with Graphic Designers and Marketing Team to help complete logo/brand design, packaging, sales/campaign materials and social media posts. Traveled to various trade shows and sold product directly to consumer, including the Wedding and Portrait Photographers Show and National Association of Broadcasters show.

Assisted both Design & Sales departments, managed multiple projects at once, concept development and trend, color research pertaining to packaging design, created 3D packaging (CAD/SolidWorks, Illustrator, photoshop) and display mock-ups (physical models), handled graphic printing process and both cut prototypes and final models, high quality craftsmanship, photo retouching of final products for online stores.
